Lena Sophia Goff

Lena Sophia “Bean” Goff, 15, of Cary, NC, born on 19 June 2010, passed away unexpectedly in a tragic car accident on 5 December 2025. Her untimely passing was a result of the injuries she sustained in this accident. Lena was a vibrant and radiant presence whose empathy and warmth touched everyone who knew her. With an infectious smile and laugh, she had a remarkable way of lifting the spirits of those around her. Lena was a tenth-grade student at Green Hope High School. Music was her passion; she loved her chorus class and teacher. She was also a member of the Green Hope Wrestling team, a sport that reflected her determination, resilience, and fearless spirit. Lena loved spending time with family and friends. She loved her job at DJ’s Berry Patch and was a devoted, dedicated babysitter and pet sitter. When not in school, she enjoyed spending time with her friends, relaxing at the beach, and being involved with animals. Lena was the best sister and cousin – protective, patient, and always ready to cheer on the people she loved. She treasured every moment spent with her family, whether she was baking and cooking with her Nana, fishing with her father, or staying up late playing games with her brothers and making TikToks that filled the house with so much laughter. She was her mom’s loyal sidekick. Always by her side, offering a helping hand, a listening ear, or simply her bright company. Lena is survived by her parents, Erica Jaber Goff, Brandon Goff, stepmother Cindy Goff, brothers Quinn & Cash, stepsisters MacKenzie & Piper Winter, Grandparents Debbie Icardi, Ronald and Virginia Jaber, and Vickie Goff. A visitation/celebration of life will be held at Crosspointe Church – Cary on December 14, 2025, at 6:00pm EST. In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes contributions toward a Green Hope Choral memorial scholarship fund that will be set up in honor of Lena. Checks can be written out to Erica Jaber Goff and mailed to 104 Halls Mill Drive, Cary, NC 27519. Additionally, the family welcomes contributions to Lena’s memorial fund; donations may be made via GoFundMe, Lena Memorial GoFundMe. GoFundMe donations will help lift the financial burden during this unexpected, tragic time.
